Payment: Payment will be done according to the Department of State regulations (Purchase Order with Net 30 payment term (bank electronic wire transfer) after the delivery of service to the embassy first-hand and submitting a valid invoice). 2. Quotation: 2.1. Quoting/payment currency for overseas vendors will be inUSD. 2.2. Quoting/payment currency for Local vendors will be in EGP. 2.3. Technical sheet to be provided with the quotation (if available). 2.4. Quotation deadline is December 21, 2023 - 2:00 PM (C.L.T.) 2.5. Embassy is exempted from VAT and any state tax. 2.6. Quotations to be sent to Cairocontracts@state.gov 2.7. Due to NDAA policy update, please confirm that you do NOT provide, or use prohibited (covered) telecom equipment or service. Covered or Prohibited technologies are telecommunications equipment or services includes all telecommunications equipment or services produced and provided by Huawei Technologies Company or ZTE Corporation, and video surveillance and telecommunications equipment or services produced and provided by Hytera Communications Corporation, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company, or Dahua Technology Company, or any subsidiaries or affiliates of the five entities. Please see FAR 4.2101 for a complete definition. 2.8. Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror-s proposal to be considered nonresponsible and no further consideration will be given.
